Frankfort - Yvonne M. Franco, 84, of Frankfort passed away Friday, April 12, 2024 peacefully at home.

She was born in Herkimer, on August 31, 1939, the daughter of the late Raymond and Domenica Testa Franco She attended Herkimer schools and graduated from Herkimer High School.

Yvonne was employed by Univac and later for Con Med, Utica for many years.  She was a communicant of Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church.

Yvonne is survived by her sister in law, Dolly Franco of Herkimer; her god daughter, Josephine (Jo Lynn) and her husband, Massimo Sorbara of Freehold NJ and several beloved nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by two brothers, Anthony Franco and Ralph Franco and four sisters, Anna Franco Wiliczka, Philomena Lamarco, Pierina Stailli and Lydia Salamone.

Her funeral will be held Thursday, April 18, 2024 at 10:00 AM in Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church, S. Frankfort St. Frankfort where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Paul Catena. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Herkimer. Her funeral arrangements are under the direction of the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc. 203 Second Avenue, Frankfort.
