Herkimer - Mr. Woodrow Mason , 75 , of Herkimer , passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 28, 2018 at Homelife at Folts , with his family by his side.

He was born on September 1, 1943 in Ilion, the son of the late Woodrow and Betty Louise Mason, Sr. He attended Mohawk Schools. He was married to Joanne Ingerham in Herkimer on May 21, 1966. They shared a blessed union for many years until her passing on July 10, 1999. Woodrow was employed as a custodian with Quackenbush in Herkimer and later, as a custodian with Herkimer Central Schools until his retirement in 2011.

Woodrow is survived by one brother and one sister-in-law, Larry and Nancy Mason of Frankfort and two sisters, Dorothy Ingerham and Betty Mason. He was p redeceased by his daughter, Betty Louise; one brother, Willy Mason and three sisters, Marian Dingman, June Monyhan and Florance Borman.

His funeral will be held Wednesday evening, October 31, 2018 at 7:00 PM from the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, 203 Second Ave. Frankfort. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery at the convenience of his family . Calling hours will be Wednesday evening from 6:30 PM until the time of services. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Petykiewicz, Iocovozzi & Burns Funeral Home 329 S. Washington St. , Herkimer.
