Wesley Van Nort

Mr. Wesley R. Van Nort Jr. Frankfort - Mr. Wesley R. Van Nort Jr., 57, of 220 Jackson Rd passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2016 in Abraham House with his family by his side. He was born in Utica on July 21, 1959, the son of the late Wesley Bub and Sally Walsh Van Nort Sr. and he attended Sauquoit schools. Wesley was a self-employed trucker driver and was the owner and operator of Van Norts Trucking, Frankfort. Wesley is survived by four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Brenda and Paul Mierek Sr of Westernville, Kim Pye and her companion, Mark Yerdon of Frankfort, Marjorie and Carl Case of Ilion and Paula Schofield of Deerfield; his uncles and aunt, William Van Nort of West Winfield and Rita and Bob Liadka of New Hartford; nephews and nieces, Martin W. Mierek and his son, Eli, Kyle W. Pye, Paul Mierek Jr, Shane Mierek, Carrie Carpenter, Chester Talarico and Maria Talarico; his special cousin, Butch Withers; close friends, John Schlemmer and Don Hall and several cousins. His funeral will be held at the convenience of the family. Relatives and friends will gather together at the Lanterns, 275 Rasbach Road, Clayville on Saturday August 27, 2016 from 12 noon until 3:00 pm. A celebration of his life will begin at 12:30 pm with a Pot Luck luncheon at 1:00 pm.
