Wanda C. Rozinski

Herkimer - Ms. Wanda C. Rozinski, 91, passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2016 in Folts Home. She was born in Herkimer on June 3, 1925, the daughter of the late Anthony and Aniela Piotrowski Rozinski and she attended Herkimer schools. Wanda was employed as a Data Processor for Bendix, Utica and retired from there after many years of service. She was a communicant of Sts. Anthony and Joseph Church. Wanda is survived by one sister, Florence Rozinski of Herkimer; her nephew, Gary and his wife, Lee Slopka of Ilion; her great nephew, Christopher Slopka and his wife, Tiffany of Herkimer; her great niece, Alexandra Slopka of Ilion; her great great niece, Kaylee Slopka of Herkimer; her goddaughter, Eileen Schack of Herkimer and her brother Mark Szarejko of Florida and several cousins. She was predeceased by her sister and brother-in-law, Helen and Joseph Slopka, and her close friend and cousin, Jennie Szarejko. Her funeral will be held Saturday morning at 9:00 AM in Sts. Anthony and Joseph Church, S. Main St., Herkimer where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Quy Vo. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. There will be no public calling hours. Her funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Petykiewicz, Iocovozzi & Burns Funeral Home, 329 S. Washington St. Herkimer. Wanda's family would like to thank the nurses and aides at Folts Home for their loving care and kindness over the last two years.
