Frankfort - Virginia R. Vandawalker, 82, of Streamside Manor, passed away Sunday, October 23, 2011 in St. Elizabeth's Medical Center.
She was born in Frankfort on April 17, 1929, the daughter of the late Anthony and Rose Falarde Daley. She attended Frankfort schools and graduated from Frankfort High School with the class of 1947. Virginia was employed as the office manager for Slocum Dixon Medical Center and later worked as an Office Manager for Med Care in Milford, MA until her retirement in 1992. She was a communicant of Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church.
Virginia is survived by two sons and three daughters in law, Timothy and Elizabeth Vandawalker of Hopedale, MA, Robert and Michele Vandawalker of Ilion and Charlene Vandawalker of Shrewsbury, MA; her sister in law, Juline Daley of Frankfort; her grandchildren, Tracy and her husband, Loren Dean, Sarah Vandawalker, Todd Vandawalker and his wife, Alina, Amy and her husband, Ben Greis, Andrew Vandawalker and his wife, Michele, Jared Vandawalker and Caitlyn Vandawalker; her great grandchildren, Noah Dean, Adam Dean, Meredith Vandawalker and Liam Vandawalker. She was predeceased by two sons, George "Skip" Vandawalker on February 7, 2004 and David Vandawalker on October 8, 2006; two sisters, Bette Loftis and Alice Daley and one brother, George Daley.
Her funeral will be held Friday morning at 11:00 in the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort with Deacon James Bower, officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday 10-11 at the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc.
