Herkimer - Tillie Kiesel , 98 , of Herkimer , passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 14, 2019 in the Presbyterian Home with her family by her side.

She was born in Barton , Ohio on January 13, 1921 , the daughter of the late Jacob and Rose Korba . Tillie was employed as an Assembler for Par Technologies in Utica for many years.

Tillie is survived by one daughter, Jane Johnson of New Hartford; one brother and sister in law, Adam and Lucille Korba of Havre De Grace, MD and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by two b rothers , Joseph Korba and Nicholas Korba and three sisters, Ann Warkowski , Julia Scram and Helen Donadio.

A memorial service will be held privately at the convenience of her family . Funeral arrangmenets are under the direction of the Petykiewicz, Iocovozzi & Burns Funeral Home 329 S. Washington St. , Herkimer . In keeping with Tillie's wishes, there will be no public calling hours. Spring interment will be in Mountain View Memorial Gardens.
