Mrs. Theresa A. Bush

Herkimer - Schuyler- Mrs. Theresa A. Bush, 73, of 334 Shells Bush Rd passed away peacefully Thursday, August 4, 2005 in her home with her family beside her.
She was born in Schuyler on April 27, 1932, the daughter of the late Gordon and Clara Schilz Vivyan. Theresa attended West Schuyler elementary school and graduated from Whitesboro High School with the Class of 1949. She was married to Bradley E. Bush on December 19, 1953 in St. Peter´s Church, N. Utica. Mr. & Mrs. Bush had celebrated 50 years of marriage until his passing on February 16, 2004. Mrs. Bush retired in 1994 with 30 years of dedicated service in the billing dept. at Teals Express, Utica. She was a Communicant of Sts. Anthony and Joseph Church and a member of its Rosary Society. The family was active in St. Mark´s Church, N. Utica and aided in the founding of the church in 1963.
Theresa was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and is survived by three sons & daughters in law, Thomas & Ann Bush of Verona, Gordon & Jill Bush of Schuyler and Raymond & Cathy Bush of Ilion; two daughters & sons in law, Fran & Bill Connors of Schuyler and Rebecca & Robert Richvalsky of Jordanville; two brothers and one sister in law, John Vivyan of Herkimer and Gordon & Margaret Vivyan of Ilion; her grandchildren, Amanda, David, Ryan, Nicole, Chris, Heather, Kimberly, Corey, Chelsea, Cassidy, Bobbi-Sue and Shay; her step granddaughter, Jennifer; two step great grandchildren, Joshua and Lauren; her in laws, Donald & Carol Bush of Sauquoit and Joy Serviss of Schuyler, and several nieces, nephews, cousins and many close friends. She was predeceased by two brothers, Mott Vivyan and Billy Vivyan, one sister, Mary Jane Denz and her sister in law, Arline Oyer.
Her funeral will be held at 9:00 from the Petykiewicz, Iocovozzi, & Burns Funeral Home, 329 S. Washington St. Herkimer and at 9:30 in Sts. Anthony and Joseph Church where a Funeral Mass will be celebrated by the Rev. Anthony Ligato. Interment will be in West Schuyler Cemetery. Calling Hours will be Sunday afternoon from 4-7 at the Petykiewicz, Iocovozzi, & Burns Funeral Home. Members of the Rosary Society will meet Sunday afternoon at 4:30 at the funeral home to recite the Rosary.
Theresa's family would like to express a special thank you to Joy Servis who was a great help to Theresa during her illness, and their sincere appreciation to all the medical personnal who aided her during her illness and passing.
