Mr. Steve Rizzo Frankfort - Mr. Steve Rizzo, 95, formerly of Fourth Ave passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2004 in Iroquois Nursing Home. He was born in Rome, NY on July 22, 1909, the son of the late Antonio and Stefana Rizzo. The family relocated to Palermo, Sicily and he returned to the United States at the age of 16. He was married to Rose M. Licari on November 20, 1937 in St. Mary´s Church, Frankfort. Mrs. Rizzo passed away on September 17, 1992. Mr. Rizzo was employed in the Foundry of the Union Fork And Hoe Co., Frankfort for many years until his retirement in 1974. He was a Communicant of Our Lady Queen Of Apostles Church and a member of the St. Francis Di Paolo Society, Young At Heart Senior Citizens and a former member of the Frankfort Civic Club. Steve is survived by one daughter & son in law, Stephanie & John Repak of Fabius, NY; one brother & sister in law, Antonio & Marie Rizzo of Frankfort, NY; two grandsons, Anthony Moretti and Benjamin Repak; one great granddaughter, Kascha Moretti and several in laws, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by one daughter, Joanne Moretti. His funeral will be held Friday morning at 9:00 AM from the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort and at 9:30 AM in Our Lady Queen Of Apostles Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. John Yanas. Spring interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Calling Hours will be Thursday from 4-8 at the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc. Members of the Young At Heart Senior Citizens will meet Thursday afternoon at 4:15 and the St. Francis Di Paolo Society at 6:30 at the funeral home for services.
