Stella Rood

Ms. Stella Rood Utica-Mohawk - Ms. Stella Rood, 89, of 1445 Kemble St formerly of Mohawk passed away Friday, January 14, 2005 in St. Elizabeth's Medical Center. She was born in Herkimer on August 18, 1915, the daughter of the late Oscar R. and Louise Cassort Perry and attended Herkimer Schools. Stella is survived by her sister in law, Katherine Perry of Whitesboro and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by two brothers, Oscar Perry and Arthur Perry and one sister, Edith Johnston. Graveside services will be held later this spring in Oak Hill Cemetery. Her funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Petykiewicz, Iocovozzi, & Burns Funeral Home, 329 S. Washington St. Herkimer
