Stanley Edward Malanoski

Herkimer - Mr. Stanley Edward Malanoski of 316 King St, passed away Friday, June 3, 2011. Stanley was a lifelong resident of Herkimer and attended Herkimer Schools. He served with the US Army and retired from Remington Arms, Ilion. He was a communicant of Sts. Anthony and Joseph Church, Herkimer. Stanley is survived by his beloved wife, Susan; two daughters, Carrol and her husband, Dennis Spurgeon of Vero Beach, FL and Anna and her husband, Darrin Meena of Fairfield, CT; one sister, Florence Feduccia of California, his grandchildren, Dennis Spurgeon, Jr. and his wife, Cherine of Gaithersburg, MD, Scott Spurgeon and his wife, Monica of North Potomac, MD, Kimberly and her husband, Steve Kale of London, UK; his great-grandchildren, Luke and Isabella Spurgeon of Gaithersburg, MD and Ella and Caroline Spurgeon of North Potomac, MD and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by brothers, Harold and Edward Malanoski and sister, Kay Bannon. Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. His funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Petykiewicz, Iocovozzi & Burns Funeral Home, 329 S. Washington St., Herkimer. In keeping with his family's wishes, there will be no public calling hours. By family request please omit floral offerings.
