Russell Johnson Esq, 87, passed away peacefully on Sunday December 28, 2025, in his son Kurt's home.

He was born in Haverhill, MA. On January 9, 1938 the son of the late Hector and Eva Bilodeau Johnson. He attended schools there and graduated from Haverhill High School with the class of 1956. He served with the US Army and was Honorably Discharged on November 30, 1969. He later attended NorthEastern University, Boston, MA and received his Juris Doctorate from Massachusetts School of Law. He was at one time employed by Inforex, Exxon and later his law office, Russell Johnson Attorney at Law specializing in Patent Law. He was a musician playing the guitar with Critics Choice for many years. He was very active with the American Red Cross as a large blood donor.

Russell is survived by two sons and daughters in law, Eric and Sherri Johnson and Kurt and Kristen Johnson; two sisters, Vivian Cherin and Judy Lampry; he was known as Boopa to his grandsons, Vaughn and Kaden and his step grandchildren, Brandon,, Alexis, Jordan, Jesse ,and Julia; three step great grandchildren; his good friend Frank Frank and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his wife, Yvonne; his father and mother, Hector and Eva Johnson, two sisters, Joan and Patricia.

There will be a celebration of his life in the spring of 2026
