Rosemary A. Simmons

Mrs. Rosemary A. Simmons Schuyler - Mrs. Rosemary A. Simmons, 70, of 342 Mary St passed away Friday, May 12, 2017 in St. Luke's Memorial Hospital with her family by her side. She was born in Ilion on January 19, 1947, the daughter of the late Sam and Edna Guarnieri Salamone. She attended Frankfort schools and graduated from Mount Markham Senior High School with the class of 1965. She later attended and graduated from Utica School of Commerce. She was married to Robert Simmons on February 25, 1968 in Frankfort. Rosemary was employed in the Claims Department for NY Central Insurance, Edmenston. She was a communicant of Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church. Rosemary is survived by her beloved husband, Robert Simmons; two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Robin Simmons of Schuyler and Sammy and Sonja Simmons of FL; one sister, Joanne Zaffarano of VA; two brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Linda Salamone of Schuyler and Salvatore and Sherry Salamone of FL; her father in law, F. Robert Simmons of Frankfort, her aunt, Rose Guarnieri of Frankfort; she also has seven grandchildren, Willow, Rose, Sophia, Skye, Lily, Justin and Cameron and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Her funeral will be held Thursday morning at 10:30 in Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church S. Frankfort St., Frankfort where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev Paul Catena. Calling hours will be Wednesday, May 17 from 5-8 at V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort.
