Rose M. Storm

Ms. Rose M. Storm Frankfort - Ms. Rose M. Storm, 94, of 118 Pleasant Ave passed away Wednesday, May 3, 2017 in St. Luke's Memorial Hospital with her family by her side. She was born in Frankfort on October 19, 1922, the daughter of the late Leonard and Mary Frances Trippen Zaffarano. She attended Frankfort schools and graduated from Frankfort High Schools with the class of 1940. Rose was an Assembler for Univac in both the Ilion and Utica Plants until her retirement in 1977. Following her retirement she was employed at MDS and later for Hamilton Digital. She was a communicant of Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church and a member of the Columbianna Society. Rose is survived by one daughter, Dianne Hardie of Marysville, OH; one son and daughter in law, William and Dona Storm of Liverpool; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great great grandchild and serveral nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by three sisters, Mary Zaffarano, Agnes Graziano and Josephine Brooks and six brothers, Ralph Zaffarano, Philip Zaffarano, Joe Zaffarano, Rocco Zaffarano, Frank Zaffarano and Andrew Zaffarano. Her funeral will be held Monday morning at 9:45 AM from the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort and at 10:30 AM in Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Paul Catena. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Calling hours will be Sunday, May 7 from 1-4 pm at V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Rose's memory may be made to Catholic Charities, 61 West St, Ilion, NY 13357. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
