Frankfort - Mrs. Rose Nieman, 66, of 2441 Broad St passed away Monday, January 14, 2013 in St. Luke's Home with her family by her side.
She was born in Hamilton on October 1, 1946, the daughter of the late Clayton and Mildred Gedney Heisler. She attended Morrisville, Remsen and West Canada schools. She was married to Armand Nieman on September 14, 1968 in Middleville. She was a member of Red Hat Society and served was a Past President of the Patient Board of Directors of the St. Luke's Home
Rose is survived by her beloved husband, Armand Nieman; two daughter and one son in law, Tina Jacobs and her companion, Donald Mercer of New Berlin and Amy and Kenneth Gruet of Oriskany; two sons, Armand Nieman, Jr. of Frankfort and Brian Nieman of Schuyler; one brother, Clayton Heisler of Schuyler; one sister and brother in law, Brenda and Robert Clemons of Holland Patent; her in laws, Dean and Mary Nieman of Holland Patent and Grover and Beverly Nieman of Vernon Center; nine grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by two sisters, Carolyn Cincotta and Ruth Heisler.
Her funeral will be held Friday at 12:00 PM from the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort with the Rev. Donald Dixon, officiating. Interment will be in West Schuyler Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday morning from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc.
