Rose M. Hutchinson

Frankfort - Herkimer - Mrs. Rose M. Hutchinson, 100, formerly of W. Main St, Frankfort passed away Sunday, September 21, 2008 in Folts Home. Rose recently celebrated her 100th birthday with her family. She was born in Herkimer on September 10, 1908, the daughter of the late Kazimer and Marcella Taylor Weliczka and she attended Herkimer schools. She was married to Orville Hutchinson in Pennsylvania. Mr. Hutchinson passed away on November 14, 1960. Mrs. Hutchinson was employed as an Assembler for Nettleton Shoe Factory, Syracuse for many years until her retirement in 1973. She was a communicant of Sts. Anthony and Joseph Church. Rose is survived by her sister in law, Myra Weliczka of Saratoga Springs; her niece, Margaret & her husband, Robert Murphy of Little Falls; her nephew, Kenneth & his wife, Ellen Weliczka of Saratoga Springs and several great nieces, great nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by three sisters, Anna Bendzunas, Martha Weliczka and Betty Weliczka, one brother, Joseph Weliczka, her nephew, John Bendzunas and her great nephew, Kyle Murphy. Her funeral will be held Thursday morning at 9:30 am in Sts. Anthony and Joseph Church, S. Main St., Herkimer where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Anthony Ligato, pastor. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Dewitt. There will be no public calling hours. Her funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Petykiewicz, Iocovozzi & Burns Funeral Home, 329 S.
