Rose Rita Harris

Mrs. Rose Rita Harris Frankfort - Mrs. Rose Rita Harris, 87, of 405 First Ave. Ext. passed away Sunday, August 30, 2015 in St. Luke's Memorial Hospital with her family by her side. She was born in Frankfort on November 18, 1927, the daughter of the late Nick and Carrie Terranova Spine and she attended Frankfort schools. She was married to Joseph P. Harris on September 11, 1954 in St. Mary's Church, Frankfort. Joe passed away on July 21, 1988. Rose Rita was employed by G.E. and later by Univac Ilion & Utica Plants for many years. She was a communicant of Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church. Rose Rita is survived by her daughter and son in law, Cindy and Joseph Ciccone with whom she resided; four grandchildren, Joseph and his wife, Kristen Jennings Ciccone, Nicholas Ciccone, Christopher Ciccone and Michael Ciccone; her sister and brother in law, Mary Jane and Jake Cimo of St. Louis, MO; her brother in law, Monsignor Martin Harris of California, MD and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Her funeral will be held Thursday morning at 9:15 from the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort and at 10:00 in Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Leo Potvin. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 5-8 at the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc. By family request, please omit floral offerings.
