Rose Bongiorno

Ms. Rose Bongiorno Frankfort - Ms. Rose Bongiorno, 88, of 512 Frankfort St. passed away Sunday, September 20, 2015 in St. Luke's Memorial Hospital. She was born in Frankfort on July 27, 1927, the daughter of the late Nicholas and Mary Sylvester Bongiorno and she attended Frankfort schools. Rose was the billing clerk for Lally Manufacturing, New York Mills for many years until her retirement in 1992. She was a communicant of Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church and a member of the Young At Heart Senior Citizens. Rose is survived by two sisters, Frances Bongiorno of Frankfort and Theresa Bongiorno of Whitesboro; her sisters in law, Mary Bongiorno and Betty Bongiorno and several beloved nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by four brothers, Dominick Bongiorno, George Bongiorno, Phillip Bongiorno and Anthony Bongiorno and two sisters, Marie Clements and Agnes Salvaggio and her niece, Mary Bongiorno. Her funeral will be held Wednesday morning at 10:30 AM in Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church, S. Frankfort St., Frankfort where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Paul Catena. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. There will be no public calling hours. Her funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort.
