Utica - Ronald James Horton, 60, of Utica passed away Thursday, May 5, 2022 in the Abraham House with his family by his side.

He was born in Utica, New York on August 28, 1961, the son of and the late Zaffa George Horton.  He attended Utica schools and graduated from Proctor High School. Ronnie was a Professional Painter for many years throughout the area.  He was a member of St Louis Gonzaga Maronite Church. He was a great cook and loved spending time with his family.

Ronald is survived by son, Ronald Horton Jr. and his fiancee, Tanya of Troy, NY; two daughters, Ashley Pulluaim and her fiancée, Rich and Sabrina Pulluaim and her fiancée, Jimmy all of Utica; one sister, Kathy Horton of Hinkley NY; his fiancée, Gina Lavalla, his beloved aunt, Rose Nelson of Utica; Ronnie’s cherished grandchildren, Messiah, Ronnie III, Cerena, Corvin, Ayla, Akoda, Jayden, Brielle and Mason and several beloved and cherished cousins.

His funeral will be held Thursday, May 12, 2022 at 12:00 noon in Saint Louis Gonzaga Maronite Church , 520 Rutger Street , Utica, NY 13501 with the Father Boutros El Hachem officiating. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc. 203 Second Avenue, Frankfort. .
