Rocco J. Liscio

Mr. Rocco J. Liscio Herkimer - Mr. Rocco J. Liscio, 91, of 108 Petrie Rd. passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2016 in his home with his family by his side. He was born in Little Falls on January 11, 1925, the son of the late Nicola and Assunta Lamanna Liscio and he attended Little Falls schools. He was married to Ida Franchino on July 7, 1951 in St. Anthony's Church. Ida passed away on December 10, 2011. Rocco was employed as a Foreman for Allegro Shoes, Little Falls, later for HCCC as a Security Guard for many years and also as a Courier for Herkimer County Trust. He was a communicant of Sts. Anthony and Joseph Church. He was a diehard Yankees fan and an avid bowler. Rocco is survived by one son, Nicholas Liscio of Herkimer; one daughter and son-in-law, Bernadette and Richard Roberts of Nashville, NH; one brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Lena Liscio of Little Falls; one sister, Sue Barone of Highland, NY; three grandchildren, Dominica Liscio, Richie Roberts and Andrew Roberts; two great-grandchildren, Kiara Roberts and Owen Roberts and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his daughter-in-law, Cheryl Green Liscio; great-grandson, Devin Logan; his twin brother, Patsy; his wife, Agnes Liscio and his brother in law, Al Barone. His funeral will be held Sunday evening at 6:00 PM in the Petykiewicz, Iocovozzi & Burns Funeral Home, 329 S. Washington St. Herkimer. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Calling hours will be Sunday, August 14th from 3-6 pm in the Petykiewicz, Iocovozzi & Burns Funeral Home.
