Twon of Plainfield - Robert Newhall, 91, passed away peacefully at home on November 21, 2025 with his family by his side.

Robert Newhall was born on August 11, 1934 in Oneida, NY, to the late Nelson and Anna Amann Newhall. He attended schools there and graduated from Oneida High School. Following his military service with the US Air Force, he was employed in the Maintenance Department of MVCC until his retirement in 2000 after 40 years of dedicated service. He was married to Marie Mushak who passed away on May 10, 1992. He was later was united in marriage to Lena Lints on November 8, 1997 in Herkimer.

Robert is survived by his beloved wife, Lena Newhall; three daughters and one son in law, Patsy Newhall, Doris VanDyke and Joyce and her husband, Douglas Barton; stepson, LeRoy and his wife, Colleen Barton; his brother in law, Jesse Lints; special grandchildren Henry Donlon, Angelo Lorezoni, Michael Lorezoni and Kelly Watson twenty three grandchildren and several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Robert is preceded in death by his father, Nelson Newhall, his mother, Newhall, two daughters, Ellen Dano and Deanna Donlon; one brother, Brandon Newhall; one sister, Margaret Law; his granddaughter, Melissa Donlon; grandson, Gerald 'AKA JR" Dano Jr; his great granddaughter, Brianna Donlon and his great grandson, Philip Donlon Jr.

Services for Robert will be held at the convenience of the family.

His family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to West Winfield Fire Department, Unadilla Forks Fire Department and Bridgewater Fire Department, for their wonderful care shown to him during his illness and passing. In lieu of flowers contributions in Robert's memory may be given to West Winfield Fire Department 373 W. Main St, West Winfield, NY 13491.

His funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the V.J.Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort, NY 13340
