Richard E. Massey

Frankfort - Richard E. Massey, 83, of Frankfort passed away Saturday, November 6, 2021 in St. Luke´s Memorial Hospital with his family by his side.

He was born in Mohawk, New York on December 28, 1937, the son of the late Carmon and  Lena Casullo Massey. He attended Frankfort schools and graduated from Frankfort Schuyler High School and later attended MVCC. He was married to Barbara Ann Payne on July 26, 1958 in Sts. Peter and Paul's Church, Frankfort. Barbara Ann passed away on October 26, 2005. Richard was a Production Man for General Electric, French Road, Broad St and later the Schenectady Plant.

Richard is survived by two s ons and one daughter in law, Darryl and his wife, Nancy Massey of Wind Lake WI and Eric Massey of Ilion NY ; one daughter, Sharyl Seymour of Syracuse NY; one brother, Dale Massey of Terrell TX; one sister, Lauren Massey of Binghamton NY; his grandchildren, Melissa and her husband, Corey Paterson, Joseph LoRe, Danielle LoRe, and Conner Massey; his brother-in-law - Harold Wood of Whitesboro and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his step father, Charles Casullo.

His funeral will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in East Schuyler Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc. 203 Second Avenue, Frankfort.
