Raymond R. Walker

Ilion - Raymond R. Walker, 84, passed away on August 6, 2026 peacefully in his home with his family by his side.

He was born in Redfield, NY, on August 23, 1941 the son of the late Ralph and Ada Walker. He attended schools in Rome. He was married to Lois Irving on August 3, 1974 in Newport. He was employed by St. Luke's Memorial Hospital for many years and retired in 2003. He was a devoted communicant of St. Augustine's Episcopal Church, Ilion.

Raymond is survived by his beloved wife, Lois Walker; his daughters, Lonna and her husband, Kenneth Wilcox Sr and Jacqueline Walker and her fiancé, Deanna Holdridge; his grandson, Kenneth Wilcox Jr; his granddaughter, Rachel and her husband, Mathew Jodway; six great grandchildren and four great great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

His funeral will be held on Tuesday morning, August 11, 2026 at 11:30 at the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc. 203 Second Ave., Frankfort with the Rev. Kenneth Hunter, officiating. Interment will be in Frankfort Hill Cemetery. Calling hours will be Tuesday morning from 9:30-11:30 Am in the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc.

His funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., Frankfort, New York.
