Pietro "Peter" LoGalbo

Frankfort - Pietro "Peter" LoGalbo, 37, of Frankfort passed away peacefully Friday, November 10, 2023, in Wynn Hospital with his family by his side.

He was born in Utica, New York on March 15, 1986, the son of Dominick and Jennie Purpura LoGalbo. Peter attended Frankfort Schools and graduated from Frankfort-Schuyler High School with the class of 2004 and later MVCC.  Peter received his degree in Criminal Justice. He was the owner operator for Xtreme Auto, Albany St., Utica. Pete was a communicant of Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church.

Pete is survived by his beloved father and mother, Dominick and Jennie LoGalbo; his sister, Annamaria and her husband, Paul Kelly of Sauquoit NY; his cherished nieces, Lilly, Rose, and Violet; his uncles and aunts, Vinny and Sharon Purpura, John Purpura, Salvatore and Courtney Purpura, Anthony and Kathy Purpura, Gabriella and Guiseppina LoGalbo, Santina and Anthony Consiglio, and Angela LoGalbo and Pino Sciortino, and several cousins.

His funeral will be held Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at 9:45 AM from the V. J.  Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort and at 10:30 AM in Our Lady Queen Of Apostles Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Paul Catena. Interment will be Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Calling hours will be Tuesday, November 14th from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM at the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home Inc., 203 Second Ave., Frankfort.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Peter's memory may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN 38105  Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

Peter’s family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the nurses and staff of the new Wynn Hospital, St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center and St. Luke’s Memorial Hospital, for the wonderful care and compassion shown to him and the family during his stays there and passing.
