Phyllis D. Keeley

Mohawk - Mrs. Phyllis D. Keeley, 86, formerly of Greenwood Terrace passed away Monday, April 20, 2015 in The Grand in Rome with her family by her side. She was born in Frankfort on September 15, 1928, the daughter of the late Anthony and Angelina Cacciatore Papa and she graduated with the class of 1946. She was at one time married to Peter V. Loiacono of West Winfield. Phyllis was later married to James J. Keeley on June 22, 1974 in Frankfort United Methodist Church. James passed away on September 1, 2014. Phyllis was employed as an Inspector for Standard Furniture in Herkimer for many years until her retirement in 1975. She was a member of Frankfort United Methodist Church and the Women's Society of Christian Service. Phyllis is survived by one daughter and son in law, Beverly and her husband, Randall Miller of Canandaigua, two sons and two daughters in law, Kenneth Loiacono and his wife, Susan of E. Greenbush and David Loiacono and his wife, Deborah of Camden, two step daughters and one step son in law, Susan Keeley of Pacafica, CA, Jane Keeley and her husband James Perkins of Laytonville, CA, one sister, Amelia Loiacano, of Frankfort, five grandchildren Matthew Loiacono, Jeremy Miller, Zachary Miller, Sara Waterstraat, Joshua Loiacono, one step grandchild, Elizabeth Keeley, and six great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by two sisters, Catherine Cushman Gillman and Mary Vivacqua, Her funeral will be held Saturday afternoon at 1:00 PM in Morning Star United Methodist Church, 4224 Acme Rd. Frankfort where a funeral service will be celebrated by the Rev. Robert Wollaber. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort.
