Phyllis S. Fraccola

Ms. Phyllis S. Fraccola Utica - Ms. Phyllis S. Fraccola, 77, passed away peacefully Saturday, January 23, 2016 in her home. She was born in Utica on October 2, 1938, the daughter of Philip and Catherine Pedalino Saporito. She attended Utica schools and graduated from Proctor High School with the class of 1956. She later attended Utica College. Phyllis was a former member and partner in Higby Hills Country Club and presently Stone Bridge Country Club. Phyllis is survived by her mother, Catherine Saporito Dabrowski; two sons and one daughter in law, Alan Fraccola of Utica and Philip and Kelley Fraccola of Jamesville; one daughter, Alicia Fraccola and Michael Liberatore of New Hartford; eight grandchildren, Jennifer Fraccola, Chad and his wife, Kait Birnie Carstensen, Alan Fraccola, Philip Fraccola, Jillian Fraccola, Aaron Macchia, Jacob Fraccola and Aliya Liberatore and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her father, Philip Saporito, her step father, Edward Dabrowski and her sister, Carmelita Tringo. Her funeral will be held Wednesday morning at 11:00 at St. Patrick's - St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church, 3372 Oneida St., Chadwicks where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Abe Esper, pastor officiating. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Utica. Her funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort.
