Ms. Philomena I. Dacquino Frankfort - Ms. Philomena I. Dacquino, 86, of 310 Railroad St. passed away Friday, January 16, 2015 in the home of her daughter and son in law, Christine and William Schwerdt, with her family by her side. She was born in Rome on May 30, 1928, the daughter of the late Salvatore and Mary Trovato Comito and she attended Rome schools. Philomena was employed in the Mohawk Room of the Boston Store for many years. She was a communicant of Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church and a member of the Addolorata Society. Philomena is survived by one son, Thomas Dacquino of Frankfort; one daughter and son in law, Christine and William Schwerdt of Frankfort; one sister, Mary Bowles of Mooresville, NC; two granddaughters, Susanne Conley and her companion, Robert Cristiano and Michelle Tyson and her companion, Eric Alfred; seven great-grandchildren, Robert Andrew Drumm, Justin Michael Conley and his fiancé, Courtney Reel, Brandon Tyson, Sarah Marie Bernier and her companion, Matt Karp, Abigail Phillips and her companion, Tim Brown; two great-great grandsons, Anthony Robert Conley and Justin Michael Conley II; her sister in law, Jane Comito of Brentwood, TN; a special niece and nephew, Ann and Richard King of Center Moriches, NY and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her daughter and son in law, Mary and Robert Conley, two brothers, Emmanuel Comito and Frank Comito and one sister, Antoinette Comito. Her funeral will be held Tuesday morning at 10:30 AM from the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort and at 11:00 AM in Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Paul Catena. Spring interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday evening from 4-8 in the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc. Members of the Addolorata Society will meet Monday at 4:30 at the funeral home for services. Philomena's family would like to express their sincere appreciation to all those who touched her life and loved her. They would like to extend their appreciation to Dr. Desai and P/A Windy Mitchell and staff, the nurses and staff of Hospice and all her angels for the wonderful care shown to her during her final days.
