Paul E. Altamuro

Mr. Paul E. Altamuro Key West, Fl - On April 11, 2017 my son Paul Altamuro (A.K.A. Superman) lost his courageous battle to leukemia with his guardian angel wife Maria and best friend C.J. by his side. Paul was born August 15, 1969 to Mike Altamuro and Prudy (Pelose) Altamuro and was the beloved son of the late Manny Laura and Prudy Laura and Mike and Nancy Altamuro. Paul attended Frankfort schools and graduated in 1987 from Frankfort-Schuyler High School and 1989 from Cobleskill College with his degree in food and beverage. He moved to Florida to pursue his career in Marco Island, Naples and settling in Key West. Owning and working in many Restaurants. Paul was involved in the fire department serving as captain of the Monroe County Rescue Team as a firefighter and E.M.T receiving many awards. Paul leaves behind his parents, beloved wife Maria. His brother Mike Altamuro and his wife, Diane and their children Michael & Danielle. Sister, Shari and her husband, Mike Vigneau and their children Connor & Evan. Brothers Marc Altamuro, Brian Altamuro & his fiancée, Danielle and Joe and Stacie Laura, sons A.J. and Jake. His mother-in-law Betty Mandoza, brother-in-law, Miguel and his wife, Yoko and several cousins and friends. He was loved by all. A special thanks to his Doctors and Nurses for all their help at Baptist Memorial. Those wishing to do so may make contributions to Maria Altamuro or Cancer Foundation of the Florida Keys. His Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, May 20th in Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church, S. Frankfort St., Frankfort at 11:00 am.
