Pasqualina Peggy Castilla

Frankfort - Mrs. Pasqualina "Peggy" Castilla, 91, of 459 Joslin Hill Rd passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2008 in Mohawk Valley Nursing Home. She was born in New York City on October 15, 1917, the daughter of the late Luiggi and Josephine Peduto Guazzo and she attended schools Jersey City. She was married to Thomas Castilla on September 18, 1937 in Nutley, NJ. Mr. Castilla passed away on October 31, 2007. She was a member of Christian Assembly of Schuyler and was at one time served as a 4H leader. Pasqualina is survived by two sons & one daughter in law, Pat Castilla of Frankfort and Angelo & Frances Castilla of Herkimer; one daughter & son in law, Rosalie & Charles Schmidt of Fishers Landing; two sisters, Madlyn Boyers of TN and Mary Parella of NJ; her grandchildren, Dale & his wife, Lisa Castilla, Michael & his wife, Dana Castilla and Sandra Castilla; her great grandchildren, Abigail Castilla, Gabrielle Castilla, Alec Castilla, Jeffrey Castilla and Christopher Castilla; her in laws, Carl Cy Castilla and Anna Castilla both of Frankfort, and Josephine Castilla of Clinton and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by four sisters, Philomena Mahan, Christine Foy, Jenny Guazzo and Antoinette Joseph and one brother, Pasquale Guazzo. Her funeral will be held Saturday morning at 11:00 am in Christian Assembly of Schuyler Rt. 5 Schuyler with the Rev. Robert Burge, pastor officiating. Interment will be in Oak View Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 at the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort.
