Richfield Springs - Mr. Nicholas Kleban, 90, of Monticello St., passed away Friday, December 2, 2011 in the Folts Home. He was born in New York City on July 26, 1921, the son of the late John and Mary Kleban and he attended Richfield Springs schools. He was married to Sophie Skramko in 1943 in St. Mary's Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Herkimer. Mrs. Kleban passed away on May 26, 2003. Nicholas is survived by one son, John Kleban of Richfield Springs; one brother, Joseph Kleban of Richfield Springs; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by two brothers, Walter and Jacob. His funeral will be held Monday morning at 10:00 in St. Mary's Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery with Rev. Fr. Ivan Semko, pastor of St. Mary's Ukrainian Orthodox Church. His funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Petykiewicz, Iocovozzi & Burns Funeral Home, Herkimer.
