Molly M. Moracco

Mrs. Molly M. Moracco Frankfort - Mrs. Molly M. Moracco, 77, of 202 N. Frankfort St passed away Monday, October 9, 2006 in Mohawk Valley Nursing Home. She was born in Frankfort on October 11, 1928, the daughter of the late Michael and Frances Abitabile De Palma. She attended Frankfort schools and graduated from Frankfort-Schuyler High School with the class of 1946. Molly later attended and graduated from Utica School of Commerce. She was married to Frank G. Moracco on July 1, 1950 in St. Mary's Church. Mrs. Moracco was employed as an Executive Secretary for the Plant Manager at Univac in both the Ilion and Utica Plants for over 36 years. She later served as the Village Clerk for the Village of Frankfort for 12 years until her retirement in 1994. She was a very religious woman of deep faith and was a communicant of Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church. She was dedicated to Our Lady of Sorrows and was a member of the Addolorata Society which was founded by her grandmother, Gabriella DePalma. She was also a member of the American Legion Post #845 Aux. and a past member of National Secretaries Association. Molly was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt who always put her family first. Her greatest joy was having her family together and being able to share that joy with the love of her life, her husband Frank. Together they shared a forever kind of love- a love that will live on forever. Holidays were her favorite times- cooking, baking and sharing with family and friends. She loved her home and garden. Molly loved going to the casino and watching New York Yankees baseball with her family. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy- she was always so supportive and so proud of them. A very special moment was when she became a great grandma. Brenden became her "little sweetheart"- she loved being a "Nonnie". Her memory will live on forever in the hearts of her family and wonderful friends. She has touched so many lives with love, kindness, caring and sharing. We will always remember her beautiful smile. We love you always. Molly is survived by her husband, Frank G. Moracco; one daughter, Frances M. Bryant; one son & daughter in law, Frank & Debbie Moracco; one sister, Mary Salvaggio all of Frankfort; her grandchildren, Jonathon & his wife, Michelle Bryant, Frank Moracco and Jamie Moracco; one cherished great grandson, Brenden Bryant; her in laws, Joseph Moracco of CA and Ann Moracco of Clinton and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
