Miss Josephine Bono

Frankfort - Miss Josephine Bono, 91, of 677 Joslin Hill Rd. passed away Sunday, May 5, 2013 in St. Luke's Memorial Hospital. She was born in Frankfort on March 20, 1922, the daughter of the late Peter J. and Josephine Bono and she attended Frankfort schools. Josephine was employed as a Custodian as well as a Bus Driver for Frankfort Schuyler Central School District for many years until her retirement on April 19, 1990. She is survived by her beloved nieces, MaryJane and her husband Gary Baker of N. Utica, Rachel Rotundo of Herkimer, Carolyn Battelene of Utica, Ann and her husband, Glenn Wagler of Richmond, VA, Naomi and her husband, Robert Harvey of Mohawk and her nephew, Rev. Joseph J. Pileggi and his wife, Lorraine of Semmes, AL. She was predeceased by three sisters, Infant Jennie Bono, Mary Fazio and Jennie Pileggi and one brother, Joseph Bono. Her funeral will be held Monday afternoon at 3:00 from the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave., Frankfort. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Jay Scienza. Interment will follow in Oak View Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday from 1:00 PM until the time of services at the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc.
