Mildred H. D`Amelio

Mrs. Mildred H. D´Amelio Frankfort - Mildred H. D´Amelio, 80, of 3644 Southside Road passed away Thursday, October 27, 2005 in St. Luke´s Memorial Hospital. She was born in Utica, NY on October 25, 1925, the daughter of the late Fred and Rozella Nemier Hamer and she attended Utica schools, graduating from Proctor High School with the class of 1941. She was married to Rocco D´Amelio on September 14, 1950 in St. Anthony Of Padua Church, Utica. Mr. D´Amelio passed away on September 9, 1985. Millie was a secretary for Retail Credit and later Equifax from 1942 until her retirement in 1990. She was a member of Board of Directors of the Frankfort Center Cemetery and served as a Treasurer for many years. Mildred is survived by three sons & two daughters in law, Paul D'Amelio and Dean & Diane D´Amelio all of Frankfort and James & Elizabeth D'Amelio of Dallas, TX; one daughter, Deanna D'Amelio of Utica; her cherished grandchildren, Paul Dack, Melanie D'Amelio and Mia D'Amelio; special nephews and their wives, Allan & Pietrina Markle and Dennis & Shelly Johnson and several cousins. She was predeceased by one brother, Levi Hamer and one sister, Bessie Markle. Her funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 pm from the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort with the Rev. John Yanas, pastor of Our Lady Queen of Apostles officiating. Interment will be in Oak View Cemetery. Calling Hours will be Monday from 4-8pm at the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc. In leiu of floral offerings contributions in Mildred's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
