Michele A. VanGorder

Frankfort – Mrs. Michele A. VanGorder, 67, of Frankfort passed away Sunday, May 21, 2023 at home with her family by her side.

She was born in Herkimer, NY, on May 20, 1956, the daughter of the late Stanley and Santa Rose Alsante Coveleski. She attended Mohawk schools and graduated from Mohawk High School. She was married to Robert VanGorder on December 22, 1978 in Charleston, SC.

Michele was a Sales Clerk for Kmart, Walmart and later for Weisser's Jewelers, Herkimer, NY

Michele is survived by her beloved husband, Bob; two daughters and sons in law, Cassandra and her husband, James Hoffman of Ilion and Bobbilee and her husband, Daniel Coffin of Cedarville; two brothers and one sister in law, Stanley Coveleski and James and Brenda Coveleski all of Mohawk; two grandchildren, Carmella and Robert James and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Her funeral will be held Thursday, May 25, 2023 at 1:00 PM from the V. J.  Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort where a funeral service will be celebrated by the Rev. Paul Catena. Calling hours will be Thursday, May 25 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at the V. J.  Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc. 203 Second Ave., Frankfort.
