Michael J. Ferrucci

Utica - Mr. Michael J. Ferrucci, 58, of 2224 Pinnacle Dr. passed away, Saturday, January 14, 2017 in St. Elizabeth's Medical Center with Sue Ann by his side. He was born in Herkimer on December 20, 1958, the son of the late Fred J. and Josephine Piscione Ferrucci. He attended Herkimer schools and graduated from Herkimer High School. Mike was united in marriage to Sue Ann Leary Dellerba, Mike always referred to her as his "Pretty Lady" and Sue Ann always referred to Mike as "My Love". Michael was the owner and operator of Herkimer Roofing and the Prospect Inn in Herkimer. He later was the manager of Jack's Restaurant, Babe's, Carmella's and later for Carrabba's in Miami Beach. His final employment was at the Residence in Hollywood, FL until his retirement in 2015. Mike's heaven on earth was walking the beach in Hollywood, FL. Michael is survived by his beloved wife, Sue Ann "Pretty Lady"; one sister and brother-in-law, Rose and Vinny Scalise of Ilion; his stepchildren, John and Michelle Dellerba of Marcy, Dana and Greg Facciolo of Utica, Nikki and Tim Cressey of NJ and Teri and Joe Neish of Tonawanda; his nieces and nephews, Angela and Michael Bourke of VA and Gino and Annie Scalise of Ilion; his great nieces and great nephews, Conor, Amelia, Brynna and Vincenzo; eight grandchildren, Gianna, Dominic, John, Isabella, Joey, Dylan, Madison and Andrew and many wonderful friends here and in Florida. He was predeceased by his sister, Mary Lu Ferrucci on June 19, 2016. His funeral will be held Friday afternoon at 1:00 PM in the Petykiewicz, Iocovozzi & Burns Funeral Home, 329 S. Washington St. Herkimer. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 20th from 11 AM - 1 PM in the Petykiewicz, Iocovozzi & Burns Funeral Home. There will be a service at a later date in Hollywood, FL. Please omit floral offerings.
