Michael Carboni Frankfort - Michael J. Carboni, 91, of 128 Cemetery Road and formerly of Church Street, passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2005 in Masonic Care Community. He was born on April 7, 1914, in Anela, Province Of Sassari, Italy, the son of the late Joseph and Maria Paoni Carboni. He attended schools in Italy and came to this country in 1950. Michael was married to Mary Maneen on October 29, 1955 in St. Mary´s Church. Mrs. Carboni passed away on December 9, 1979 Michael worked as a laborer for Hale Manufacturing, Herkimer until retirement. He served in the Italian Army during World War II. Michael was a communicant of Our Lady Queen Of Apostles Church, Frankfort and the Young At Heart Senior Citizens. Michael loved gardening and was a gentle man with a warm personality. His family was most important to him. He is survived by his nieces and nephews, JoAnne Maneen, Theresa Maneen, Rick & His Wife, Maggie Maneen, Joseph & His Wife, Linda Maneen, Linda Maneen, Josephine & Her Husband, Gary, Christine & Her Husband, Philip Christiano, Peter John Maneen; his sisters-in-law, Mary Maneen of Ilion and Lucy Maneen of IL and several great nieces and nephews. Michael was predeceased by uncle & aunt, Peter & Stella Paoni. His funeral will be held Saturday morning at 9 AM, from the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort and at 9:30 AM, in Our Lady Queen Of Apostles Church where a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. John Yanas. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Frankfort. Calling hours will be Friday from 4-7 PM at the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home. Contributions in his memory may be offered to Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church, Frankfort. Michael's family would like to thank the entire staff of the Saratoga Wing at the Masonic Care Community for all their loving and compassionate care.
