Michael Li Britz

Frankfort - Mr. Michael Li Britz, 98, of 129 Piper Lane passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2008 in St. Elizabeth's Medical Center. He was born in Frankfort on May 17, 1910, the son of the late Charles and Antonia Conoscienti Li Britz. He attended Frankfort schools and graduated from Frankfort High School with the class of 1928. He was married to Sarah Accattato on October 9, 1944 in St. Mary's Church. Mr. Li Britz was employed by Univac in both the Ilion & Utica Plants for many years. He was a communicant of Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church. Michael is survived by his beloved wife, Sarah Li Britz, one sister, Mary Deasy; his sisters in law, Gemma Tassino and Catherine Accattato Snider both of Frankfort; a very special great niece, Katie Frederick and several beloved nieces, and nephews. He was predeceased by four sisters, Ann Sweet, Susan De Luke, Mildred Daley and Sunta Sally Palmiero. His funeral will be held Thursday at 1:00 pm in All Souls Chapel of Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Elizabeth St. Frankfort where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Alfred Lamanna. Interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. There will be no public calling hours. His funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort.
