Maude Mae Martin

Ilion - Ms. Maude Mae Martin, 50, of 31 Catherine St passed away Friday, October 7, 2011 in St. Luke's Memorial Hospital. She was born in New Hartford on January 24, 1961, the daughter of the late Willard L. and Gloria L. Jarvis Martin Sr. and she attended Utica schools. Maude was a Home Health Aide for Valley Health Service, Herkimer. Maude is survived by her loving and dear companion, John Vandawalker; one son & daughter in law, Kenneth & Stephanie Wilcox Jr. of Frankfort; one daughter, Chrystinia Vandawalker & her companion, Tony Maine of Ilion; her cherished grandchildren, Anthony, Shawn, Victoria, Karlee, Brandon, Trissa and Zachary; four brothers and three sisters in law, Robert & Raquel De Carr of Yuma, AZ, Donald "Skip" & Karen De Carr of Utica, Willard "Bill" Martin Jr. of FL, Michael "Mike" & Cindy Martin of Ilion; five sisters and two brothers in law, Rose Brower of Utica, Marge & Lynn Backus of Van Hornesville, Peggy-Jo & Dick Murdock of Schuyler, Suzie Soules of Herkimer and Betty Soules (Santos) of Bridgewater; very special aunt and uncle, Marion & Bob Martin of Little Falls; her special friend, Sharon (Sis) Dodge and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by one brother, Mark Martin. Her funeral will be held Wednesday evening at 6:00 PM in the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort with the Rev. Lyle Robinson, Pastor of the East Schuyler United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in New Forest Cemetery. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4-6 at the V. J.
