Mary C. Plano

Mohawk - Mrs. Mary C. Plano, 90, of 31 W. Main St. passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2015 in The Pines at Utica with her family by her side. She was born in California, PA on March 13, 1925, the daughter of the late Peter and Jennie Vella Campagna. She attended Frankfort Schools and graduated from Frankfort High School. She was married to Joseph R. Plano on June 3, 1944 in the Christian Apostolic Church, Albany. Joseph passed away on November 18, 2006. Mary was employed as Principal Secretary for Mohawk Central School for many years. Mary is survived by two sons and daughters in law, Gary and Joan Plano of Mohawk and Dennis and Linda Plano of Victor, NY; her six beloved grandchildren, Elizabeth Lake, Shawn Smith, Jeffrey Smith, Gary Plano, Jr. and his wife, Alyssa, Joseph John Plano and his wife, Amanda and Susan Christine Plano-Dupra and her husband, John; seven great-grandchildren and her brother in law, Gil Patrei of PA and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her sister, Catherine Patrei. Her funeral will be held privately at the convenience of her family from the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort. In keeping with Mary's wishes, there will be no public calling hours. Spring interment will be in Mohawk Cemetery.
