Mary Lynne Petrilli

Mary Lynne Petrilli, 72, passed away on November 26, 2025, in her home in Palm Springs, CA with her brother by her side.

Mary Lynne was born on October 19, 1953 in Ilion, NY, to the late William and Grace Iocovozzi Petrilli. She attended Frankfort Schuyler Schools and graduated from Frankfort Schuyler High School with the class of 1971. Mary Lynne received her Bachelor's Degree from Long Island University her Master's Degree from Northern Arizona University and later received her degree from College of St. Rose in School Administration. She was a well-known Teacher and school Principal in the Albany area. She was a communicant of Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church, Frankfort and St. Theresa's Church, Palm Springs. Mary Lynne was always and advocate for both education and animal rights.

Mary Lynne is survived by her devoted brother and sister in law, William and Laura Petrilli,of Chadwicks; her nephew, Dr. Matthew and his wife, Irina Petrilli; her niece, Bianca and her husband, Alex Schultz; her beloved canine, Cain Petrilli and several beloved cousins.

Her funeral will be held, Saturday morning, December 20, 2025 at 10:30 AM in Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church, S. Frankfort St., Frankfort, NY where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev Paul Catena. Spring interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Mary Lynne's family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to Chantal Schulz for the wonderful care and compassion shown to her during her illness and passing.

Her funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the V.J.Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc. 203 Second Ave. Frankfort.
