Frankfort - Mary A. Green, 97, of Frankfort, NY, passed away Monday, May 12, 2025, peacefully in her home.

She was born in Frankfort, New York, on May 10, 1928, the daughter of the late Peter and Laura Nicastro Conigilaro . She attended Frankfort schools and graduated from Frankfort High School with the class of 1945. She later attended and graduated from Excelsior School of Business (Utica Business School) with the class of 1947. She was married to Dominick “Ming” Green on July 10, 1948, in St. Mary's Church, Frankfort. Ming died on February 19, 2016. Mary was employed as an Executive Secretary for Associated Laundries of America for Martin Abelove, Utica. Mary worked with the Hank Brown Show for over 20 years. She was a member of Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church and the National Professional Secretaries Association.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Marguarite Green of Frankfort ; her cherished granddaughter, Tara Skelly; sister-in-law, Phyllis Conigilaro of Frankfort; niece, Paula Vennera, and great niece and great nephew, Angela Simmons and family, and Jason Conigilaro; her niece, Mary Elizabeth Downhaniak, and several cousins. She was predeceased by her brother, Paul Conigilaro on June 26, 2020, and her sister and best friend, Connie Dowhaniak, on November 20, 2006.

Her funeral will be held Monday morning, May 19, 2025, at 10:30 AM in Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church, S. Frankfort St., Frankfort, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Paul Catena. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Her funeral arrangements are under the direction of the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Avenue, Frankfort.
