Herkimer - Mr. Mark A. Bonilla, 51, of 319 S. Main St. passed away Monday, March 8, 2010 in St. Elizabeth's Medical Center.
He was born in Herkimer on June 16, 1958, the son of the late Anthony F. and Elizabeth Macri Bonilla. He attended Frankfort, Mohawk and Herkimer schools and graduated from Herkimer High School with the class of 1976. Mr. Bonilla was employed in the Maintenance Department for Wal-Mart, Herkimer. He was a communicant of Sts. Anthony and Joseph Church.
Mark is survived by his two cherished daughters, Ashley Elizabeth Bonilla and Julianna Marie Bonilla both of AuSable Forks; his paternal grandmother, Lucia Villegas Martinez of Tlatlauiquitepec, Mexico; one brother and sister in law, Jamie Villegas Martinez and Lucia Moreno Hernandez of Tlatlauiquitepec, Mexico; six aunts and one uncle, Clara Potenza of Frankfort, Mary Petracca of VT, Frances Talarico of Broadalbin, Catherine Parisi of AZ, Rita and Francis Varano and Marilyn Macri all of Herkimer; his niece and nephews, Piedad Villegas Moreno, Ivan Villegas Moreno, Salvador Villegas Moreno and Eriko Villegas Moreno, all of Tlatlauiquitepec, Mexico; his great nieces and great nephews, Brianna Ericka, Ermark, Karla, Chava and Sergey; his very close friends, Roger and Christine Hotaling and Jody J...Dog and several cousins.
His funeral will be held Thursday morning at 10:30 AM from the Petykiewicz, Iocovozzi & Burns Funeral Home, 329 S. Washington St., Herkimer and at 11:00 AM in Sts. Anthony and Joseph Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Thomas Lawless, pastor. Spring interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday morning from 8:30 - 10:30 AM at the Petykiewicz, Iocovozzi & Burns Funeral Home.
