Margaret Cirillo

Mrs. Margaret "Maggie" Cirillo Herkimer - Mrs. Margaret "Maggie" D. Cirillo, 92, of 221 Dewey Ave passed away Friday, July 6, 2007 in Valley Health Services. She was born in Herkimer on December 8, 1914, the daughter of the late Joseph and Ernestine Candella De Lucia and she attended Herkimer schools. She was married to Dominick "Youngie" Cirillo on December 7, 1935 in St. Anthony's Church by the Rev. Gustav Purficato. Mr. Cirillo passed away on June 16, 2002. She was a member of Word Christian Center, Tony R. George Post #6 and was a Gold Star Mother. Maggie is survived by one son, Dominick Cirillo Jr. of Carpentaria, CA, one daughter & son in law, Victoria & Peter Worlock of Herkimer; her grandchildren, Kristy Cirillo & Jarad Cirillo, both of CA, Russell and his wife, Wendy Luft of AK, Lori and her husband, Ross Friend of Tupper Lake, Phillip Worlock of Herkimer, Marissa and her husband, Brian Crandall of Herkimer; her great grandchildren, Sara, John, Breanne and Shayna, Rylee and Jayden; one great great granddaughter, Hannah; one sister, Nancy Hughes of FL; one brother, Dominick De Lucia of Cold Brook and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by one son, Philip M. Cirillo US Army KIA Vietnam January 20, 1968, four sisters, Lena Estey, Rose Nabinger, Pauline Trask and Elizabeth Ferrucci and one brother, Al De Lucia. Her funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon at 12:30 pm at the Petykiewicz, Iocovozzi, & Burns Funeral Home, 329 S. Washington St. Herkimer with the Rev. Eugene Kipper, officiating. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Calling Hours will be Tuesday from 4-8 at the Petykiewicz, Iocovozzi, & Burns Funeral Home.
