Margaret M. Bius

Ilion - Richmond, VA - Mrs. Margaret M. Bius, 87, formerly of Second Ave. Ilion and presently of Richmond, VA passed away Sunday, June 26, 2011 in HCR Manorcare Stratford Hall, Richmond, VA. She was born in Ilion on November 8, 1923, the daughter of the late William and Mary S. Miller. She attended Ilion schools and graduated from Ilion High School with the class of 1942. Margaret was married to Steve Bius on June 18, 1954 in Ilion. Mr. Bius passed away on August 11, 1998. She was employed as a Clerk for Remington Arms, Ilion until her retirement in 1982 after 40 years of dedicated service. Margaret is survived by several beloved nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her sister, Edith Stacks. As was Margaret's wishes, the funeral will be held privately and at the discretion of the family. Interment will be in SS Peter and Paul Orthodox Cemetery. Her funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Petykiewicz, Iocovozzi, & Burns Funeral Home, 329 S. Washington St. Herkimer.
