Lorraine C. Lorry Walinski

Lorraine C. Lorry Walinski Frankfort - Lorraine C. Lorry Walinski, 59, of 107 Edgebrook Estates Circle passed onto another life on Friday, April 22, 2005 in St. Luke´s Memorial Hospital. She was born in Ilion, NY on September 10, 1945, the daughter of the late Frank and the late Frances Lambert Cole. Lorry attended Frankfort schools and graduated from Frankfort-Schuyler High School with the Class of 1963. She later attended and graduated from the College of St. Rose with the Class of 1968 and received her Masters Degree in Reading from SUNY Cortland with the Class of 1988. Lorry was a Remedial Reading Instructor for West Frankfort Elemetary School, Frankfort for many years. She was a Communicant of Church of the Annunciation and Our Lady Queen of Apostles and a member of the Frankfort-Schuyler Teachers Association and the NYS Retired Teachers Association. She was an avid reader and loved books. Lorry is survived by her beloved daughters and son in law, Michelle Walinski of Winston-Salem, NC and Jenna & Leo Lombardo of Las Vegas; her cherished grandson, Saverio Lombardo; Lorry's beloved companion, Paul Frezza; one brother & sister in law, Francis & Regina Cole of Ilion; one sister & brother in law, Kathleen & James Benes of Phoenix, AZ; her special friends, Donna Butler and Theresa Palumbo; four nephews, one niece and several cousins. Her funeral will be held Monday afternoon at 12:30 from the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort and at 1:00 in Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated by the Rev. Alfred Lamanna, Pastor Emeritus. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Calling Hours will be Sunday from 4-8 at the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc. In lieu of floral offerings, contributions in Lorry's memory may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
