Utica-Lorraine C Crouse, 81, passed away on January 19, 2026, in Wynn Hospital.

Lorraine was born on August 5, 1944 in Utica, NY, to the late Charles and Johanna Talerico Barber and she attended schools there. Lorraine was predeceased by her life partner, Joseph "Hummy" Olmstead on April 15, 2013. She was employed as a school bus Aide for the City of Utica and later was a bartender at Palm Grill, Utica for many years. She loved to play cards with her friends to gamble.

Lorraine is survived by her son and daughter in law, Keith and Theresa Kerwin; one daughter, Audra Crouse; her grandchildren, Nicole and her husband, Andrew Methvin, Keith Kerwin, David Doolen Jr, Ashani Crouse and Joseph Tedesco; one great-granddaughter, Aubrianna Kerwin and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Lorraine is preceded in death by her father and mother, Charles and Johanna Talerico Barber; her daughter, Karen Doolen; Charles Barber Jr and one sister, Jennifer Nicotera.

Her funeral will be held at the convenience of the family.
