Loretta Ann Cool

Frankfort - Loretta Ann Cool, 86, of Frankfort, passed away Monday, April 8, 2024, in her home with her family by her side.

She was born in Utica, New York, on April 13, 1937, the daughter of the late Frederick and Edna Washburn Jowett and she attended Herkimer Schools. She was married to Robert Cool, Sr, on April 30, 1955, in the Frankfort United Methodist Church. Bob passed away on November 18, 1990. Loretta was at one time employed by Riverside Dairy for many years. She later received her CNA Certificate and was employed at Masonic Care. She later became a Home Health Aide for Superior Home Healthcare, Herkimer, until her retirement in 2019. Loretta was a former member of the Herkimer County Fair Board of Directors.

Loretta is survived by her children, Terry & Eugene Hendrickson of Lutz, FL, Robert & Michelle Cool of Frankfort, Bonnie Cool of Schuyler, Kevin Cool of Stone Ridge, Ryan & Ann Cool of Mohawk, Naomi Francis and Lori Lawton, both of Frankfort; Loretta's grandchildren, Jessica, Devin, Nolan, Amanda, Robert, Ashley, Kaitlyn, Allan, Emily, Jared, Bret, Sarah, Serenity, Kiara, Bradley, Celina, William, Taylor and Naomi; four great grandchildren, Zach, Zoe, Grayson, and Raegan; her sister, Karen Jowett of Frankfort, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her son in law, Andrew Lawton on January 1, 2015; two brothers, Bernard Jowett and Sidney Jowett and one sister, Norma Johnson.
