Mrs. Lillian G. Walthart
Schuyler Lake - Jordanville - Mrs. Lillian G. Walthart, 92, of P O Box 178 passed away Tuesday, December 14, 2004 in Folts Home.
She was born in North Jackson, OH on July 24, 1912, the daughter of the late Luther and Louise Hinkel Graham. She attended schools and later attended and graduated from Clifton Springs School of Nursing with a Masters Degree in Nursing. She was married to Edward Walthart on October 25, 1941 in Cooperstown. Mr. Walthart passed away on January 18, 1992. Mrs. Walthart was at one time employed by Herkimer Memorial Hospital and later as the Head Nurse of the Cardiac Care Unit for Bassett Healthcare, Cooperstown for many years. She was a member of Mohawk United Methodist Church and it´s Women´s Group.
Lillian is survived by her daughter & son in law, Rev. Ann & Rev Dan Mahoney with whom she resided in Schuyler Lake; her grandchildren, Luther Mahoney, Hannah Mahoney, Jessica Mahoney, Luke Mahoney, Nathanael Mahoney, Lydia Mahoney, Rachael - Lillian Mahoney and Graham Mahoney; her sisters in law, Esther Graham, Betty Graham and Virginia Graham; her extended family, David Graham, Theodore Graham and Judith Greenisen all of OH, Louise Hostetler of VA and Kim Miller of West Winfield and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by three brothers, Rolles Graham, Theodore Graham and Donald Graham and one sister, Beatrice Hostetler.
Her funeral will be held Monday afternoon at 5:00 PM in Wakeman Chapel Of The Folts Home, N. Washington St. Herkimer with Rev. Dr. David Oertel, Chaplain of the Folts Home officiating. Spring interment will be in Mohawk Cemetery. Calling Hours will be Monday from 2-5 pm in the Wakeman Chapel. Lillian's family would like to extend their deepest appreciation to the nurses and staff of the Folts home for the wonderful care shown to her during her illness and passing. Her funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Petykiewicz, Iocovozzi, & Burns Funeral Home, 329 S. Washington St. Herkimer.
