Kenneth B. Miller

Herkimer - Schuyler - Mr. Kenneth B. Miller, 84, of Protection Ave., formerly of Millers Grove Rd. in Schuyler, passed away, Tuesday, June 21, 2016 in St. Luke's Memorial Hospital with his family by his side. He was born in Norwich on January 1, 1932, the son of the late William and Katherine Woodard Miller and he graduated from Frankfort High School. He was married to Theresa Internicola in February of 1951 in St. Mary's Church, Frankfort. Theresa passed away on November 17, 1969. He was married to Esther Geviss Conley on December 29, 1971 in Middleville United Methodist Church, Middleville. The two shared a blessed union of 44 years. Ken was at one time employed with Univac, Ilion and Utica Plants, for many years and was later employed as a Machinist for Par Technologies, Utica, until his retirement. He was a member of Morning Star United Methodist Church, the Middleville Fire Department and the Free Masons Olive Branch # 40, Frankfort. In addition to spending time with his family, some of his favorite moments were spent tinkering out in his shed. Ken is survived by his beloved wife, Esther; four sons and daughters in law, Daniel and Marilyn Conley of Newport, Joseph W. Miller, David and Cheri Conley of Rome, Mark and Anna Conley of Herkimer and Claudia Miller; two daughters and one son in law, Patricia and Edward Lindsay and Kathleen Conley, all of Schuyler; 16 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by three sons and one daughter in law, William Miller, Robert and Mary Conley and Carl Miller. His funeral will be held Friday afternoon at 2:00 PM in the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc. 203 Second Ave. Frankfort, with Pastor Brian Engel, officiating. Interment will follow in Oak View Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday afternoon from 12:00 PM until the time of services in the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc. Members of the F & AM Olive Branch #40 will meet Friday afternoon at 1 PM for services. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Ken's memory may be made to the Schuyler Volunteer Fire Department, 120 Newport Rd, Utica, NY 13501. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
