Ilion - Joshua M. Tubia, 35, of Ilion passed away unexpectedly Monday, March 15, 2021.

He was born in Ilion, New York on February 11, 1986, the son of Steven and Frances Merganthaler Tubia. He attended and graduated from Frankfort Schuyler High School.

Joshua received his Sacraments from Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church.

Joshua is survived by his father and mother, Steven and Frances Tubia; his children, Santino Tubia, Cecilia Tubia, Rocky Tubia and Christian Tubia ; his maternal grandmother, Marietta Merganthaler of Ilion; two sisters and brothers in law, Antonia and Gus Fernandez and their children, Guiliana Fernandez and Gabriella Fernandez all of GA. and Adrienne and Nat Mallette and their children, Tristan Mallette, Taryn Mallette and Teagan Mallette of TX; his companion, Tara Matthews and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his grandfathers, Michael Merganthaler and Paul Tubia.

His funeral will be held Saturday afternoon, March 20, 2021 at 1:00 PM from the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort where a funeral service will be celebrated by the Rev. Paul Catena.  Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Calling hours will be Friday, March 19 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home Inc. 203 Second Ave., Frankfort.
