Utica - Joseph Elias, 32, of Utica passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2018 in St. Luke´s Memorial Hospital with his family by his side.

He was born in Bronx, New York on May 11, 1986, the son of the late Christopher Elias Jr. and Haydee Fernandez and he attended Bronx Schools.

Joseph is survived by his mother Haydee Fernandez and her companion, Joseph DiPierro; his beloved children, Emilio Elias, Emanie Elias, Jahiem Elias, Cataleya  Elias and Joseph Elias, Jr. ; his maternal grandparents, Zoraida and Victor Fernandez of Utica; one brother, Christopher Elias III of Las Vegas NV; his aunts and uncles,  Myra Fernandez, James Fernandez, Frank Fernandez, Mike Fernandez and  Gabriel and Maria Fernandez, He was predeceased by his father, Christopher Elias Jr.

His funeral was held at the convenience of the family in the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Avenue Frankfort with Father Joseph Salerno, officiating.
